After-School Achievement Program & Extended Care

Mission Statement
The goal at UCC is to engage youth in their academic journey and help them to set high goals for their education and future job possibilities. By focusing on the need to complete homework assignments, master the core school subjects, and seek and benefit from after-school tutoring, UCC helps Hispanic youth on Milwaukee's near south side provide themselves with a brighter future. Youth participating in the cultural arts and after-school programs perform better in their academic subjects at school.

Hours & Dates for the Elementary School
The After-School Achievement Program (ASAP) begins the first day of school and ends on the last full day of school year. ASAP is every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3–4 p.m. Students are chosen for ASAP based on teacher recommendations. (The regular school day ends at 4 p.m. for the Middle School.)

Extended Care

To help meet the needs of parents, we offer an extended care program until 5pm.  Parents interested in this program for students NOT already selected for ASAP must fill out an application. Please contact one of the school offices for more information and an application. There are fees associated with this service.
