Art Program

At UCC Schools, we recognize the power of the arts in fostering creativity, critical thinking, and cultural pride. Our comprehensive art program provides high-quality instruction to all students from K5 through 8th grade, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to develop their artistic skills while exploring their Hispanic roots and cultural heritage.

Throughout the year, students engage in projects that celebrate their identity and traditions, integrating elements of Latino art, history, and storytelling. From Día de los Muertos altars to mural projects inspired by renowned Latin American artists, our curriculum is designed to deepen students’ connection to their heritage while encouraging self-expression and innovation.

Our art teachers collaborate closely with the UCC Latino Arts Gallery, giving students the unique opportunity to interact with local artists, explore professional exhibits, and showcase their own work in a public gallery setting. These experiences not only reinforce their artistic development but also instill a sense of pride and belonging within the broader artistic community.
