Bruce Guadalupe Community School offers a 19-day summer academic program for K5 - 8th grade students. This program is designed to strengthen and enrich student academic performance in the core areas of reading, writing, science, and mathematics.
Summer Session hours are from 7:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday. (No school on Fridays.)
No school on July 4th in observance of the Independence Day Holiday.
Summer Recreation Program
The United Community Center also offers a Summer Recreation Program to students in grades 1-7 during the 19-day Summer Session program. The program runs from 12:15 p.m. - 4 p.m. and lunch is provided for the students. The Summer Recreation Program offers students hands-on experiences, interest-based programming, and a variety of field trips.
There is a per-student cost associated with this program, and limited spaces are available for students in grades 1 - 7.
